At the Scale7 Labs, we provide a series of courses and talks to introduce digital fabrication to a local community of creatives.
Here is what we offer: Demo sessions, introductory courses, intensive workshops, and residencies.
One-hour webinar around the integration of different digital fabrication techniques in fashion and jewellery design.
One-day workshop about 3D printing, laser-cutting, or jewellery design.
Three-day workshops about 3D printing, laser-cutting, or jewellery design.
Two-week residency where the selected designer will receive mentorship, access to Scale7 infrastructure, and materials to develop a capsule collection.
Designing and prototyping products and accessories using 3D modeling software and 3D printers. It's a sustainable solution especially for small startups to test their ideas before going into production. Our workshops are focusing on understanding the workflow of 3D printing and its potential and limitations. Our courses are specifically addressing fashion and jewellery designers that want to integrate technology and digital fabrication into their creations.
Our workshops about jewellery making are meant to give attendees a hands-on opportunity to learn about the different techniques necessary to complete a jewellery piece. Depending on the focus of the workshop, our participants have the opportunity to experiment with different materials and machines.
Laser-cutting technology unlocks endless possibilities when it comes to fashion design. During our workshops at Scale7, attendees will learn about how to optimize a file for laser cut and how to work with different materials. It's all about testing and prototypes, exploring different techniques, patterns, and applications.
